In-store communication is a very broad term nowadays. In addition to the traditional in-store public address system with appropriate music, in-store communication now also includes staff communication systems for employees via headsets, for example, or automated advertising announcements or the communication systems of technical devices such as cooling systems, to report when they have a fault. We have many years of experience in these areas, too, and work with well-known internatioal manufacturers, such as Bosch, Axis, Biamp and Apart. With intelligent analysis and technological process support, sales staff can be given on-site support, sales can be increased, and work processes made more efficient. For example, if goods are missing from the shelves, this is signalled to staff using intelligent solutions. This enables them to react promptly and thus minimise sales losses. If the retail analysis also identifies, for example, that the queue at a checkout is too long, an announcement is made automatically indicating that another checkout is opening. The announcement may be a recorded playback or spoken live. In order to reach the right target group, it is also possible to play announcements in different zones. This is where our IP network loudspeakers with 100V technology are used: by means of the integrated management surface, these enable zoning or even scheduling of the music. The speakers can be connected to a standard IP network, eliminating the need for additional audio cables. Thanks to their open standards, they are also compatible with other systems such as video management software (VMS), Voice-over-IP telephony (VoIP) (via SIP) and other analysis functions. A positive effect on customer buying behaviour is also achieved through the targeting of music, advertising and announcements in different zones. For example, if on a Saturday shortly before closing time, there are large quantities of bananas left on the shelf, an announcement can be made over a loudspeaker. Service processes can be optimised and speeded up through ongoing, direct contact between sales staff and the branch manager. This transforms shopping into a more positive experience for customers. By using a media centre, we offer you the option of integrating checkout control systems from well-known manufacturers and embedding technical announcements in the staff radio system. You can also integrate other systems, such as our video management software (VMS), hazard management software and our intruder alarm systems.
